General purpose vehicles, buses of State Agencies, Public Service Corporations and A Category Industrial Organizations are exempted from commandeering.
The travel of vehicles/machines is avoided among islands (from island to island) and from mainland to the islands. The islands’ needs are covered by local resources and in case the vehicles/machines are insufficient, commandeering is extended to any vehicle/machine, until no other local resources are available.
No common type private owned vehicles are commandeered, but crosscountry four wheel drive jeeps.
The commandeering of vehicles (passenger jeeps) which belong to doctors, chiefs of State Agencies and Public Service Organizations of the aforementioned first paragraph, Officers of the Armed Forces, the Security Forces and Chaplains is avoided
