Vehicle/Machine GREEN Special Military Order (Directions).
The GREEN Special Military Order is provided to owners of commandeered vehicles-machines for the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
The Special Military Order should follow the vehicle/machine and be preserved in a good condition.
It is forbidden for another person to be notified on the Special Military Order, apart from the vehicle’s or the machine’s driver, because it is classified SECRET.
If the vehicle/machine is transferred or its plates are surrendered, then you are obliged to notify the competent Mobilization Authority, by sending a copy of the receipt surrender.
If the owner or driver (man or woman) of the vehicle is exempted from the obligation to be mobilised by law, then he/she delivers the vehicle to the Vehicles Commandeering Center, without any other obligation.
If the owner or driver of the vehicle:
- Possesses a WHITE Special Travel Order and is subject to the classes called by virtue of the law (that is if he is a reserve soldier until 45 years old), then he/she is incorporated in the strength of the Unit for which the vehicle is commandeered, with the specialization of driver and drives his/her vehicle.
- Possesses a GREEN Special Travel Order for any Unit and he/she does not have a Doctor specialization, nor is he/she an Army Reserve Officer, then he/she is incorporated in the strength of the Unit for which the vehicle is commandeered, with the specialization of driver and drives his/her vehicle.
- Possesses a GREEN Special Travel Order and has a Doctor specialization or he/she is an Army Reserve Officer, then he/she delivers the vehicle to the Vehicles Commandeering Center and departs for the Unit mentioned in the Special Travel Order.
- Belongs to the reserve of the Navy/Air Force/Security Forces and is called to mobilization, then he/she delivers the vehicle to the Vehicles Commandeering Center and departs for his/her destination Unit.

Vehicle/Machine YELLOW SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER (Directions)
The YELLOW SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER is provided to owners of vehicles/machines used in Temporary Filler Personnel.
The Special Military Order must follow the vehicle/machine and be preserved in a good condition.
It is forbidden for another person to be notified on the Special Military Order, apart from the vehicle’s or the machine’s driver, because it is classified SECRET.
If the vehicle/machine is transferred or its plates are surrendered, then you are obliged to notify the competent Mobilization Authority, by sending a copy of the transfer documents.
If the owner or driver (man or woman) of the vehicle is exempted from the obligation to be mobilized by law, or he/she possesses a WHITE SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER, then he/she remains as driver-operator in the Unit for which the vehicle has been leased until the work for which it has been leased, is completed.
If the owner or driver of the vehicle:
- Possesses a GREEN SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER and has not been called for mobilization, then he/she remains in the Unit for which the vehicle has been leased until the work for which it had been leased, is completed. If, during his/her stay at the Unit, he/she is called for mobilization, then he/she notifies the Unit and after receiving confirmation about the time period of his/her stay in it, he/she departs for the location mentioned in the GREEN SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER with his/her vehicle, which must not carry any load and must be full with fuel.
- Possesses a GREEN SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER and he/she has been called for mobilization, then he/she departs for the location ordered in the GREEN SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER.
- Belongs to reserve of the Navy, Air Force, Security Forces and is called for mobilization, then he/she departs for his/her destination Unit.

Directions to Owners of a New SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER
In case of receiving a new SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER (GREEN OR YELLOW) , until its validation date, the text of the yellow or white frame respectively, under the title “Military Order”, applies.
When the new SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER is in effect, destroy the aforementioned Military Order.
Acceptance Receipt (Filling and Dispatch Directions)
Attached to the SPECIAL MILITARY ORDER (on its right side)you received is the Acceptance Receipt, which you are obliged to return to the competent Mobilizing Authority WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS, after you have filled in:
- The owner’s data (in case they are other than those mentioned).
- The vehicle’s particulars (if other than the ones mentioned).
- The data of the driver (if the driver is different from the owner).
- Any special particulars for the vehicle/machine mentioned on the back of the Acceptance Receipt, that is: Type of truck (common, dump truck, crane equipped truck), whether it carries hook or mounting plate (for tractors), sliding or mounted wagon (for trailers), etc.
The Acceptance Receipt, with the aforementioned data filled in, as well as the old Special Military Orders, if any, should be placed in the small envelope which had been sent with the Special Military Order. This envelope has the addressee’s address filled in advance (Mobilization Unit) and must be delivered to the Post Office. The Acceptance Receipt bearing the Post Office Organization logo (down and to the right of the Special Military Order received) must be sealed and signed by a competent official of the Hellenic Post. You keep this receipt as evidence of military documents’ delivery, along with the new Special Military Order.
It is reminded that you exclusively bear the responsibility for any loss of the mobilization documents, until you deliver the envelope to the Hellenic Post.
